This manual is key to protecting the privacy of sample donors and, at the same time, creating an effective criminal justice and human identification tool for Panamanian authorities. The event was attended by more than 40 people, including the IMELCF DNA team, its Board of Directors, the Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, the Judiciary and the Ministry of Public Security. It is important to highlight that the Minister of Public Security (Juan Pino) and the Attorney General of Panama (Javiar Caraballo) attended the event and made statements on the importance of the approval of this Manual.
