At these meetings, where police, legislative and investigative bodies were also present, mechanisms were discussed to create a regulatory framework to regulate the use of information related to forensic DNA and the improvement in technological and technical terms of their laboratories and criminal investigation equipment.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"> <\/p><p class=\"p1\">An important point was the technical meeting held with the Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich, and her team, with whom they discussed the technical support of Justicia Forense, to modify the national legislation, where all crimes are included, not only sexual crimes, as is currently the case; and a formal communication was prepared addressed to the United States government, requesting financial support from the government and other possible donors, for the installation of the CODIS software and the creation of profiles of the prison population.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"> <\/p><p class=\"p1\">The Argentine government is aware of the need to strengthen the judicial system with tools that allow for the effectiveness of justice, to confront the growing wave of crime and criminality associated with drug trafficking and illegal profits.
