This legislative advance consists of 26 articles divided into several chapters and seeks to modernize the institutions in charge of criminal justice. The new Law would replace Law No. 13,222, passed in November 2011 but never implemented.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An initiative supported by consensus<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>The project, promoted by Deputy Jos\u00e9 Corral, was approved during a session in which 33 bills were debated and approved, of which 17 became regulations.
